Hi, I’m the mum behind Nest, Nurse and Nourish. I want to be upfront about how this site makes money, because trust matters more to me than any commission.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a special URL that tracks when a reader clicks through to a brand’s website and makes a purchase. If you buy something after clicking one of my affiliate links, the brand pays me a small percentage of the sale as a thank-you for the referral. You pay exactly the same price you would if you’d found the product on your own – the commission comes out of the brand’s marketing budget, not your pocket.

Which programs do I participate in?

Nest, Nurse and Nourish is a participant in several affiliate programs, which may include:

  • Amazon Associates Program — an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.au, Amazon.com, and other Amazon properties. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
  • Direct affiliate partnerships with brands I personally use and trust, including those in the breast pump, nursing apparel, lactation support, baby feeding gear, and prenatal nutrition categories
  • Affiliate networks such as ShareASale, Impact, Awin, and CJ, which connect publishers like me with brand partners

The specific brands I partner with may change over time. If you’d like to know whether a particular link is an affiliate link, you’re welcome to email me at the contact email address below.

How I choose what to recommend

This is the part that matters most:

  • I only recommend products I genuinely believe in. That usually means products I’ve personally used during my own breastfeeding, pumping, and feeding journey — or products that have been recommended to me by mums I trust, lactation consultants, or research I’ve thoroughly reviewed.
  • No brand can pay me for a positive review. If I write about a product, my opinion is honest, whether or not there’s an affiliate relationship attached. If I didn’t like something, I’ll say so — including the reasons why.
  • Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial content. I’d rather lose a commission than recommend something that wasn’t right for you and your baby.
  • Sponsored content is always labelled clearly. If a brand pays me directly to feature their product (rare, and only with brands I’d recommend anyway), that post will be marked as “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership” at the top.

How affiliate links are marked on this site

Affiliate links may appear as:

  • Buttons (e.g., “Check current price on Amazon”)
  • Text links within articles
  • Product images that link out to a retailer
  • Comparison tables and recommendation lists

You’ll always see a disclosure at or near the top of any article that contains affiliate links, in addition to this page.

A note on the small print

I’m not a doctor, lactation consultant, or midwife. The information on Nest, Nurse and Nourish reflects my personal experience and research as a mum. Nothing here is intended as medical advice, and you should always consult a qualified healthcare provider about decisions for you and your baby. For more, please see my Medical Disclaimer.
